What lessons you have learned so far, and how have these lessons helped you achieve your goals?

Things are better worked for. If you want something, go and get it! No one else is going to get it for you! Always work towards your goals.

As for goals, it is really important to always work towards something. Having something to work towards gives your life meaning and direction. Live everyday with that big goal in mind. Even if the shifts goal changes, the things that you learn along the way will be rewarding, too.

Do you have a favourite quote or motto that you live by?

“What other people say about me is not my business.”

What advice can you give to help others become the best person they can be?

My advice explains my quote. Find what you love and don’t care too much what other people think. At the end of the day, you can’t let other people’s opinions of you consume you. If you let people dictate what you think about yourself you will never be happy.

Other advice is that you don’t get anything in life for free, you have to work for it. The world doesn’t owe anything and rewards are best worked for.

Do you have any hobbies or interests?

My interests are anything artsy and creative. I’m always trying something different every once in a while. I enjoy drawing and am currently learning how to do embroidery and water colours.

My main hobby is weight training. People can learn a lot from weight training and being able to train every day takes huge amounts of discipline, inner and outer strength too. It’s something you have to work towards, you cannot just stop or take shortcuts! It is very inspiring to look up to anyone who keeps their health and body in shape because it is something you commit to everyday. Like I said, there are no shortcuts with health and fitness, just like there are no shortcuts in life. It is the process that gives the goal and your life meaning.
